1) Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development, Ltd. (MJTD)
Myanmar Japan Thilawa Development, Ltd. (MJTD) was founded in October 2013.  MJTD is a special purpose company founded to build, sell and operate the lots of Thilawa SEZ. The shareholder composition of MJTD is as follows:

Thilawa SEZ Management Committee: 10%
Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings Public Limited (MTSH): 41%
MMS Thilawa Development Co., Ltd. (MMST): 39%
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA):  10%

2) Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings Public Limited (MTSH)
The Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings Public Limited (MTSH) is a public limited company established by a Myanmar consortium in May 2013. MTSH sold 2.145 shares to the public in 2014. MTSH is developing the residential and commercial area of the Thilawa SEZ.

3) Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is a Japan’s administrative agency which provides bilateral aid in the form of technical cooperation, ODA loans and grant aid. For the Thilawa SEZ development, the Government of Japan and JICA provide all types of ODA assistance, including technical cooperation, Japanese ODA loans and grant aid to build power, water, communication, road, port and other infrastructure in the surrounding area, as well as to assist the management of Thilawa SEZ Management Committee.
